This excellent range of groundbaits is designed to be used in conjunction with our freezer bait range. For example use the Fishy Mix with Red Baron and Multimeat, the Nutty Mix with the Nut Mix and the Bloodworm with the Bloodworm Extract. There are also dedicated dips to use with the groundbait, these are detailed in the description of the products. The groundbaits also make perfect stik/bag mixes, ball up for catapulting into your swim and make great method balls. A few tips to try are adding tiny floating pellets to the mix. This has the effect of breaking the groundbait down quicker and forcing tiny bait particles up into the water column thus pulling any midwater cruisers down onto the baited patch. Also try mixing oil based additives in with other liquids. Ones to try are salmon or hemp oil, our nut oil, or chilli oil. Add these together with either our Active Groundbait Additive or with one of our liquid bait additives which are listed after the groundbait description. This groundbait contains crushed hempseed, halibut pellet meal, crushed birdseeds, marine pellets and fish extracts. Mix this to the desired consistency by using our Anchovey/Oyster liquid or our Fish Stim which is pure fish protein. There is no limit to how much of these two products that can be added as they are both totally natural. Add a glug of salmon oil as well to help release the attractors. FISHY MIX NUTTY MIX A superb mix of crushed hemp, crushed birdfoods, ground tiger nuts, chopped roasted peanuts, molasses and honey. Mix to your desired consistency with our tiger nut juice and our new Nut Oil. Add a few crushed Nut Mix boilies to the mix and fish a Nut Mix pop up over it. Excellent all year round especially on waters that see heavy fishmeal use. This groundbait comes into its own in the winter, remember tigers and peanuts are among the best winter baits so it makes sense to use this product. This groundbait contains crushed hemp, three different crushed birdseeds, halibut pellet meal, bloodworm powder, bloodworm pellets, honey and molasses. Mix to your desired consistency using our fabulous bloodworm extract liquid and salmon oil. This groundbait is brilliant when used on silty waters or waters which have a high level of natural bloodworm. Great all year round but again an excellent winter bait. It is very effective in bloodworm rich water from febuary to may when the carp are waking up. Use in conjunction with our Bloodworm Extract freezer baits and our bloodworm pellets.
